The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has announced that Gernot Rohr is the new Technical Adviser of the Super Eagles.
Rohr, 63, was recommended by the NFF’s Technical and Development Committee and has signed a two-year deal on Tuesday.
A brief statement on the federation’s Twitter feed read: “Mr. Gernot Rohr signs two-year contract to work with the NFF as Technical Adviser of the Super Eagles.”
The German replaces Sunday Oliseh, who resigned from the role in February this year.
He is expected to take charge of the Eagles, in next month’s African Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania, before the 2018 World Cup qualifiers begin in October.
