Akeredolu Wins APC’s Guber Primary Poll in Ondo

Former President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Mr Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN) has emerged as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the November 26 governorship election in Ondo State.

Akeredolu polled 669 votes to defeat the anointed aspirant of the National APC Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who got 635 votes.

Former governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2012 election, Chief Olusola Oke got 583 votes to place third in the keenly contested election.

The Senator representing Ondo North Senatorial district, Prof Robert Ajayi Boroffice was fourth with 461 votes.
