Kanye west, Kim Kardashian, North West and Big Sean at Chobe Safari Lodge, Uganda
KAMPALA, Uganda (AP) — Ugandan officials say Kanye West and his wife, the reality TV star Kim Kardashian West, have arrived in Uganda on a private visit.
The controversial rapper is staying at a five-star luxury resort with wife, Kim Kardashian, and daughter North while he works on his next album and shoots some videos.

Big Sean is reportedly at the resort as well, most likely to collaborate with West on the album.
The celebrity couple flew into the country on Saturday morning and were straight away flown by chopper to Chobe Safari Lodge located in Murchison Falls National Park in North-Western Uganda.
Kanye West was booked into Chobe Safari Lodge in Murchison Falls National Park and his entourage fully took over.
Chobe Safari Lodge is currently under tight security and is not taking any reservations for the next seven days of Kanye West’s stay.

Kanye will be recording his album at the facility. In an earlier interview with BBC, Kanye stated that he is seeking inspiration for his new album.
“I just need to go and grab the soil… and have the mic in the open, so you can hear nature while we’re recording. I felt the roots. We have to go to what is known as Africa”, Kanye West said.

Information Minister Frank Tumwebaze told The Associated Press late Saturday that West’s visit is “an endorsement of our tourism resources.” Government spokesman Ofwono Opondo said on Twitter that the American rapper was traveling with his wife.

They are vacationing at the Chobe luxury safari lodge with a view of the River Nile in the northern part of the East African nation.
Their presence in Uganda is seen as a coup for official tourism promoters, who recently were criticized by the president for allegedly not doing enough to promote Uganda’s natural attractions.
