Nigeria’s 58th Independence Day: Vice-President Osinbajo prays for renewal, restoration

Nigeria’s Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo was one of the notable Nigerians that thronged the National Christian Centre, Abuja on Sunday for the inter-denominational church service to mark the 2018 Nigerian Independence Day celebration where he prayed for the country’s renewal and celebration.

Professor Osibanjo, whose remarks at the service dwelt on declarations and prayer for Nigeria, said: “the anniversary of our nation is an opportunity to bless our nation, to declare blessings upon our nation, and upon the people of our nation, for all of us present here and everywhere.”

He declared: “Nigeria you will be exalted, you will not fail, you will not fall, you will excel, you will rise beyond the imagination of the world, and you will be a pride to Africa and the world, in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus.

“Nigeria this is your season of exaltation, renewal, and restoration, and all we have lost will be restored, where you have failed we will succeed in the mighty name of Jesus

“We declare that death and destruction and every device of Satan has failed over Nigeria. We speak life, life more abundant to you Nigeria and Nigerians in the mighty name of Jesus.

“Every person of Nigerian blood I declare concerning you, that this is the season of your promotion and you will be promoted, this is the season of joy for you, you and your families will experience great joy and favor in Jesus name.

“We declare concerning you Nigeria that you are entering into your season of exceeding greatness and great favor in Jesus name.”
