USA: Atiku Arrives in Washington D.C

Mr. Atiku Abubakar, Nigerian presidential candidate of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), arrives in at Dulles Airport, Washington, DC, on Thursday night. He is accompanied by Nigeria’s senate president Bukola Saraki.

Nigerian Presidential election candidate Atiku Abubakar arrived in Washington D.C, for what is being called a visit with the U. S government and Nigerians residing in America.

Mr. Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and his delegation meet with U.S. congressman Chris Smith (R-NJ). Mr. Atiku arrived in the United States on Thursday for meetings with U.S. government officials, Nigerians in Washington, DC metropolis and business representatives.

Atiku, who for the past twelve year was denied visa to visit United States, where he once lived and owned properties, is embarking on what may be described as a promotional tour, ahead of the scheduled election in Nigeria on Saturday, February 16, 2019.

He is expected to address  a forum by the American Chamber of Commerce in Washington D.C. and attend other meetings aimed at boosting his presidential election standing during his visit.
