Aliko Dangote one of Africa’s biggest men was present at the launching of the International Commission on Financing Global Education Opportunity report, titled ‘The Learning Generation: Investing in Education for a Changing World.’

The event took place in New York and was attended by many dignitaries including Dangote. Other people who attended the event are; Prime Minister Erna Solberg of Norway, President Arthur Peter Mutharika of Malawi and the Director-General of the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), Irina Bokova and UN Special Envoy for Education, Mr Gordon Brown.
